Our story

Beep beep beep, “I’ve got to go!” The sound of my dad’s pager going off meant there was a work related emergency that needed immediate attention. At the time, the “pager” was the fastest way to reach someone and it was highly effective. Fast forward 25 years, technology has rapidly evolved, but sometimes it seems like the pager might still be more effective then today’s technologies.

We live in an instant gratification world and if you don’t respond to a text, email, or phone call within a few hours you are guaranteed to get a bad review or be shunned for horrible customer service. Our vision for Briefkase came directly from first hand experience as a landscape, building maintenance contractor and property owner. We saw that fragmented technological solutions between property owners, managers, and vendors were creating a massive bottleneck of information transfer. The delays equate to frustrations, trust issues and a waste of time and money for all parties involved.

How is it possible for property owners, managers, and vendors to be effective in accomplishing the same goal when we are all using separate systems? As the technological landscape continues to grow and everytime a new app is built, we grow further apart from one another. Unless, they are all built to work together.

As a builder, I knew that something needed to be done or I’d be forced to spend more time behind a computer and less time on the job. If we could bridge the gap between our work as a vendor and their work as managers and decision makers we could really save everyone a lot of headaches and heartache. We decided to embark on a journey to solve the issue of fragmented communication by creating a collaborative platform that brings property owners, managers, and vendors together, under one roof, to simplify work.

Welcome to Briefkase!

We work better together!
